Scott is a British soccer coach who spent several years as a humanitarian aid worker driving relief convoys to frontline villages during the civil war in the former Yugoslavia. The tragic death of three children near Sarajevo in 1996 inspired him to create Spirit of Soccer, and since then Scott has led the development and expansion of the organization in conflict zones all over the world. He holds mine awareness training certifications from both the United Nations and NATO and is a qualified A-license coach with both UEFA and the USSF.
